.410 shells
« on: March 04, 2009, 04:24:35 PM »
Just got off the phone with my dad and after the passing of my mom he has began cleaning out areas of the house previously avoided. Mom was a shop-aholic and dad preferred to just avoid confrontation. Anyhow, he called to ask if I knew that he owned a pump 410, I said I had no idea; he said he just found one in the "office" when he was cleaning. Now he would like to get a hold of a case of shells and a 1000 rounds of 9mm, I don't have a problem with the 9 ammo buy I don't reload shotgun. Anybody got any tips of decent priced 3" .410 shells? He uses them in the orchards to keep down the birds, all legal depradation, he prefers not using poison around the farm because of the grandkids. Thanks

Thanks, for both. I will get some ordered for him. Now that he found the pump I am hoping to get one of his single shots for my boy to start shooting.

My mom passed back in june last year, my wife had her gal bladder removed last week so I was playing nurse, then I got something nasty that has floored me since Sunday, today is the first time I have been able to keep something in my stomach.
My dad thought it was over kill when I bought a 20 ga years ago, he always said his 410 dropped everything he needed it to.

Makes me feels good to know that more that my labs would notice me gone  :tung: :tung: :tung:
