In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I'm confused by #3&&4 in the rules... If I say I'm in does that mean you will pick who I send the gift to or does that mean it's the previous person?

At noon on the 10th, I will randomly scramble the names.

It’s usually pinned at the top each year.  :dunno:

I'm probably wrong, I thought it normally went down in the main section and eventually after everyone signed up got pinned up here....but I'm probably wrong.

P.S.  Thanks for doing this!!!

See what happens when you let an atheist run the Christmas gift exchange?  :chuckle:

There's hope for all of us. I like the season and always wish people Merry Christmas, unless they're Jewish or Muslim. Then I just say, "eat it suckers. I have free stuff coming!" Seriously though, we decorate the house, I play Christmas music on the piano - both liturgical and contemporary carols, we even have a nativity scene (with baby Santa in the cradle).  For us it's more of a state of mind and time to connect with people we love, help out folks who need help, do some random acts. You don't have to be a Christian to get into the spirit of the holiday. A lot of angry atheists are missing out on the good parts.  :chuckle:

It's possible that because this thread is now in an Opt In board lots of people simply do not even see it. Maybe see if a mod can move it to one of the public boards.

I wasn't aware  that VC was an opt in board. I'm not sure where else it would go, though. :dunno:
