The WSSM and 7WSM has gone by the way side. The 270WSM and 300WSM is still going strong
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.

I'm pretty sure the 300 wssm is a wildcat and brass is practically impossible to get.

300 WSM on the other hand is going to be around a long time and it is offered in most brands of rifles.  I'd go with a 300WSM if I were going with a 30 cal.  It uses less powder than the 300 WM to achieve similar velocities so it is a more efficient cartridge.  Also, being a short action, it is usually going to weight less than the 30-06 or 300 WM rifles.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

 :yeah:

Go with a Tikka wsm. Get a bolt stop and mag from mountain tactical to turn it into a long action so you can seat the 210's into the lands and fit it them in the mag. Dang near same velocity as wm.

A 26 inch barreled 300 win will push 215 bergers in the 2900+ fps range and do anything you would need it to near to real far.
