They keep them in cages over a piece of corrugated roofing on a slant and a gutter with a hose  attached to it.  I used to buy my trapping lures and stuff from Grawes and Minn. trappers.  One of the big fur farms would sell me my fox urine by the gallon out of  a big collection vat.   
After the first shot the rest are just noise.
