Black tail w/radio collars
«

Checked my trail cam on 12/31 to find a picture of this..... What looks to be a radio collar fixed to this little buck's neck. This is in 407. Have you guys seen this before? If so, let's hear it!

Radiotelemetry study on deer movements? I think I saw somewhere that Eric Holman, the head biologist at WDFW, may be involved in a current study.

I know the WDFW just recently began a blacktail deer study. They have an agreement with the DNR to do the study on DNR lands. I'm not sure if it's happening on other lands as well.

Email the regional biologist. They've been pretty cool about sharing info when I've emailed them about similar things. I was going to post the link for the biologist contact list but I can't get it to open on my phone right now.

The oldest boy and I saw 2 collard does on his Green River youth buck hunt this season 1 of which was left lonely after he put her boyfriend in the back of the truck. We also saw a collard cow in there, the inspectors said the muckleshoots are doing the study
