I built a similar but somewhat more modern version of that about ten years ago, a CD player, pocket amplifier, and a megaphone from radio shack.... I bet the one in the link works better! I would buy that at a garage sale for $5 but I’m not driving to eastern oregon

I'd almost bet in the hands of the right guy that rig would call as many coyotes as a one made this year. Been there, done that and a whole bunch more homemade callers and they all called coyotes.

I used one of those years ago. My issue with it was extra background noise on the tape. There was a hiss that could be heard between calling sequences. Having said that I did shoot some westside coyotes with it.
