Lee Auto Breech Lock Pro press
« on: March 05, 2018, 02:06:49 PM »
Lee Precision announced that in early April they will begin selling a new progressive press, likely eliminating the Lee Pro 1000. The press uses a solid die holder with 4 threaded die holes. You will use the Lee breech lock rings for individual dies. This is similar to the Hornady system. The press looks like the Lee Classic Turret press but the similarity ends there. You purchase additional breech lock rings for all your dies so swapping out calibers is a simple and quick process. Change the shell plate and your good to go. There is no built in primer system, you rely on the newest version of the Lee safety primer with the new plastic flip trays. The press comes with the somewhat sloppy but surprisingly functional automatic case loader. You could use the Lee automatic bullet feeder & die if you want but that takes up one of the die holes. The list price is $150 but some dealers are selling the press for less than $110.00, not including shipping. If this press works without any major issues it will represent one THE best value on the market for a progressive press. If anyone has any information on it please post.
Warning! Do not elect politicians who don't support the 2nd Amendment as the Constitutional framers intended - There are no Collective Rights in the Bill of Rights. America is about Individual Freedoms, not collectivism!
