« on: March 10, 2009, 04:47:52 PM »
I have a Ruger 10-22 that I have made my project fo almost two years now.  I finally put the finishing touches on it this week and am going full ghillie tonite for coons and yotes.  Here is a pic of the gun and hopefully tomorrow will have pics of fresh kills.

SWEET! I love the way it looks. Let us know how she performs out in the field!

I have the same rifle...I think you just gave me an idea for a summertime project. :IBCOOL:

As far as accuracy, it can hit dimes at 50 yards repeatidly.  100 yards ther is not much difference.

I got the stock and barrel both from Joes.  If you go to cheaperthandirt.com, they have even more options for the 10/22.  I got the stabilization module from Cabelas and spent 15 dollars at my local hardware store for sandpaper, tape and paint.

Took it out last nite and didnt get to shoot.  I called a coyote in to about 25 yards.  It came in behind me and by the time I turned to shoot, it disappeared into the dark.  Oh well, good nite all around.
