Does anyone know whether the south gate into the Quincy Lakes is currently open?

That is not good. I have not fished that area for many years but we use to fish the first of March weekend and we could always get in and camp at Burke or Quincy and fish all of the lakes in the area.

South gate has been closed for a number of years because of vandalism and gangs.  North gate is open.

That sucks. We use to camp out all the time at Burke and Quincy and hike down to Dusty and fish. I would have never thought that that place would have become a garbage dump because of gangs.

That's Washington.
Where doing the job of governing is a pesky burden on our highly paid officials.
Our money is better spent on "wolf specialists" than on keeping areas open for good family recreation.
