Not in the availability, practicality or man bun department
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Ok cartridge, but give me a 7-08 for hunting every time.
Besides, I don't have enough hair left on top for a man-bun anyways☺

Like it or love it. It’s here to stay, great chambering. Some have sniveled about it being a “Fad” cartridge for years and have since changed their tune. The guys that seriously drove them out of the gate knew the chambering was a performer. Now with a huge selection of ammo, especially from Hornady. Seriously accurate factory fodder out of a wide variety of factory rifles. If a guy can slap a trigger worth a darn, 1/2” MOA from a $400.00 factory rifle isn’t too shabby. At around $20.00 bucks a box to feed it. A guy doesn’t even need to invest the time or money to reload.

Some pitched the 6.5x47 for years before the Creedmoor’s arrival and members here ate it up. What’s the difference? I like shooting everything. Depends on my mood. Nothing wrong with super magnums, some just can’t drive them. Nothing wrong with a 6x45. They all kill stuff.

I have nothing against the 6.5 Creed and they all seem to shoot pretty well but it's no secret I'm a big fan of the 6.5-284 so I don't see myself jumping ships any time soon.  Even loaded to short action OAL's, the 6.5-284 out performs the 6.5 Creed.

IMO, the real winner, with regard to the 6.5 Creed, is the marketing department because they've taken a ho hum middle of the road performing cartridge and turned it into a superstar.
Yup, in agreement. Don't think anyone here thinks its a "bad" cartridge, just that its no worse, but no better then other mid power 6.5 rounds. Kinda like arguing 257 Imp over 25-06 over 25/284. Not that much of a gap in performance between the lot. Those that aren't on fire" for the Creedmore are more against the "fanboy" mentality from advertisers driving the popularity. But some are easily led in that regard😉
Some even lurk here👍
