Ronald/Roslyn snow.
« on: March 24, 2018, 08:17:27 AM »
Hey guys,
I was looking at going to attempt my first turkey hunt this year. I was planning on going around the ronald/roslyn area. Cause its close enough to the house and seems like a place that might have birds. My question is I was thinking on running up there tomorrow or next sunday to do a little scouting. Im bringing my wife and daughter with as sundays are my only day off and don't want to not hang out with them. So Im just wondering the snow situation up there. Is there still a lot of snow up there or is it all gone by now. I don't think they would be happy trudging through snow. haha. Another question if there is snow is it a waste of time to scout for turkeys? Do they get pushed down in elevation from snow?

I was a little further east in cle elum last weekend and there was still a good amount of snow up there. I had to stick to the packed snow mobile trails. If I went off them it was pretty treacherous.
