Been using an old Benelli Nova for quite a while but just for kicks I have shot Toms the last couple of years with my Goose gun. Benelli M2 with a red dot for fun, works great

The mountains are calling and I must go

I'd take an M2 over an SBE any day of the week. Sweet gun my man!

My Benelli SBE 26" and my wife's Remington 11-87 24". Both are shooting about 160 hits in a 10" circle at 40 yards, with Winchester long beard 3" 1 3/4 oz. 5 shot.

Since you brought it up...
Little Pathfinder is hunting turkey for the first time this spring.  He wanted to use his 20 gauge Rossi Trifecta that he uses for grouse and pheasant because it's light and he's used to it.  I wanted him to use his hand-me-down (from his older brother PathfinderJR) 20 gauge pump (H&R Pardner), but he said it's too heavy.
So, we went to the range.  I set him up in a chair on a tripod with his Rossi and loaded a 3 inch turkey load for his patterning target.  You can probably guess what happened... :chuckle:
The first shot knocked him, the chair and the tripod into a big pile (nice pattern though on the target).
After surviving a couple of shots with the pump, he decided the pump was OK after all.  Opening day sealed the deal.  It's now his "Turkey Gun"...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
