2018 Moose, Caribou, & Mountain Goat Cancellation Hunts

A couple of spots just opened up in our schedule due to cancellations, so we're offering some fantastic deals on last minute hunts for Canada Moose, Mountain Caribou, and Mountain Goat (including one moose hunt during the rut!).

Each hunt is 11 days long and includes 9 full days of hunting. You'll begin and end your hunt in Whitehorse, YT. These hunts will all occur in the middle of over 3,000 square miles of pristine wilderness in northern British Columbia. This area is home to an incredible population of wild game and has some excellent hunting opportunities that few other places in North America can rival. Each year we hunt between 1/3 and 1/2 of our camps, which allows us to keep the hunting pressure on the game very low. For this reason, we have high success rates and our hunters can be very selective in the animals they choose to take. We can accommodate rifle and archery hunters.

We've had a 100% success rate on caribou, goat, and moose over the last 3 years. The smallest bull moose we took last year measured 52". The typical moose taken by our hunters measures over 56” and scores over 180 B&C. The typical Caribou our hunters take measures 340-380 B&C. Most of our Caribou have stunning white manes and every year we have a few each year that break 400 points with a few more that sport some very large and impressive double shovels.

Due to the extreme cold temperatures and large amounts of snowfall that the mountains they inhabit experience each year, the mountain goats in this area have magnificent coats. Average horn length for our mountain goats is 9 1/4" and we have taken a number over 10". You’ll hunt up a massive drainage in northern British Columbia on horseback and camp in a new spot each day. So, in addition to getting a fantastic mountain goat hunting experience, you’ll also see some incredible country and have a great wilderness adventure.

These lake moose hunts are the perfect Canada hunting package for hunters who want to focus on taking a monster moose. The dates in September take place right in the middle of the moose rut with lots of opportunity for calling. Both of these hunts are much less physically demanding than our horseback hunts and are perfect for hunters who do not like riding horses or who have mobility issues. We have a 100% success rate on our boat moose hunts over the past 3 years and we took our biggest moose of 2017 on one of these hunts (it grossed 220″ B&C).

We took this video a couple years ago on one of our September moose hunts.
There were two moose bedded down there and the bull that you see first is actually the smaller of the two. Watch until the end of the video to see the larger bull stand up. I can't remember exactly what he scored, but he easily made the B&C minimum.
