Man, After seeing all this I wonder if I will be able to even come close to any of this. Been on this earth 56 years so far, hope I can at least get a fiew of the same animals maybe in my next 56 years  :chuckle: Awesome rooms all you guys and gals. Makes you feel like part of the family when someone shares part of their home with ya. Best damn hunting site on the internet. Thanks     Scot

Wow after seeing all this I think I am going to have to post some pics on here. It will take a bit though as I do not have a trophy room I have a trophy house. Different theme for each room. Helps alot is the wife is a hunter also so we have fun decorating.

Wow.  Now I am jealous.  Spend much time up north...???

I love the whitetail munching on the tree.  I have a smaller whitetail rack that I was thinking about doing something interesting with... might steal your idea.  Don't worry, I won't do it nearly as well as you did... :chuckle:

I've been hunting for years and never got anything mounted until this year because of the cost. I get my snowgoose back in June and now I can't wait until next year to get 2 or 3 more ducks done!

awesome rooms guys, I really like the decor. Some of you have a scary good fashion sense....

That's why I do my own taxidermy.  Some stuff comes out a little rough, but at least I can afford it, and it's fun...

I've been thinking a bit about doing my own taxidermy, but... I run a small business with my dad and we have about 15-25 employees. (depending on how busy we are). I am involved in 3 different non-profits which I work with on a monthly basis, and my wife and I are expecting our first child in May.......... I'm lacking spare time unfortunately  :yike: but I'm working on a petition that I'm sending to God. When I get enough signatures I'm going to ask him to add a couple more hours to the day...

I'll sign it... :chuckle:
I know what you mean... I usually save my taxidermy projects for when the wife takes the boys to the grandparents in Tennessee.  If you are going to give it a shot, I would start with non-waterfowl birds.  They are much less labor intensive (or maybe I'm just doing it wrong :chuckle: ) and if you goof one up you won't slit your wrists..

No, don't start with ducks  :bdid:(especially nice ones). Start with a grouse or a pheasant.
