Buffalo WY campgrounds, looking for reviews!
« on: May 29, 2018, 11:33:18 AM »
headed back to Wyoming this fall to chase antelope again. Going to be staying in buffalo, in the tent.

Buffalo KOA says they can accommodate my 12x20 tent, with power on site.

Anyone stayed at the Buffalo KOA, or one of the other campgrounds in town? mostly looking to avoid a crap place, or miss out on a killer one.

if anyone has any reviews or first hand experience I'm all ears!
thanks

I've tent camped at the Buffalo KOA and it is an excellent campground with modern facilities and a good game hanging and processing area. Look no further IMO.  :twocents:
Gobblers only, all jakes must walk

I'll second the KOA recommendation, I've not camped there but I lived in Buffalo for a few years.  Nice sheltered creek bottom location, lots of deer in the campground area.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
