Pig Hunts
« on: June 25, 2018, 12:09:23 AM »
Has anyone here gone pig hunting through an outfitter?  I’m looking for real references.  Some of the reviews sounded like shills.  I'm looking mostly in Texas but would consider other places.

Free to $299 for room & board plus $1.00 lb live weight for hogs you shoot. 100-300# typical. . Had great time.    Texas Independence Ranch.   Like most in Texas this is high fence ranch hunt not a wilderness adventure - though it can be wild if a hog charges you let me tell ya.

I have a outfitter in northern Cali that’s great. Little more money then a lot of the Texas places. His hunts run 950-1200. If interested send me a pm and I can can visit with you more on it.

Ive used Lockwood Outdoors in California & had a great hunt. We’d use an arc to get around the ranch & spot & stalk from there. Huge ranch with free range animals. I’m working on going back this winter.
