Mallis Cow

My disabled father drew a cow tag for the Mallis unit Dec 16-31.  We see that there is some state land and a  lot of private.  Looks like a knocking on doors game.  If anyone has any information that can help it would be appreciated.

 Yes there is some state ground but the elk are hard to  find there . The farm land down along the highway that time of year will be a way better bet .  Most of the farmers are petty good about access if u just ask especially with ur dad needing assistance.
