Might need a bobcat trapper
« on: August 01, 2018, 08:42:32 PM »
Hi All,

We have had a bobcat ranging our neighborhood lately and just earlier the darned thing was on our deck for Christ's sake.  Been twice now in the last 2 weeks we've seen the thing around the house and probably 10 sightings between the neighbors and us lately.   I know the season is a few months out but I'd really like for someone in the know and with a license on here to come and get it.  I live between Renton and Maple Valley.  Let me know if you can help.

Doesn't sound like it is hurting anything.  That said Bobcat opens for hunting September 1st.  September is not that far away.  So I keep telling myself...........

Holy Moly man, this thing is HUGE.  I think my Gamo would just irritate it.  We seen it run across the drive way in front of us and I initially thought it was a deer, but quickly realized it was a cat.  Then the sumbitch walked across the deck tonight!  I've seen a dozen or so in the wild in my life but never this big.

Maybe it is time to by a couple of live chickens a week to go after the bugs in your yard?

Thanks for the responses.  I didn't realize I could impart some lead poisoning on this thing come Sep. 1st.  I'm going to see how this plays out.  If it is still around, I'll get a hold of one of you.

I've eaten bobcat. It tastes good.
Since they eat a lot of local chickens, it would seem they would have a slight 'chicken' flavor. And they eat a lot of rabbits. I like rabbit too.
I hope that's enough motivation for you.
