N/E elk collaring program?
« on: September 05, 2018, 09:06:41 AM »
Does any one know what general areas they were collaring elk last year in the N/E corner? I'd heard they collared some near Fruitland. I got this cow with a collar in an area that I wouldn't think they would be targeting for elk.

Do you know if they use other means in those units to keep track of elk (chip, implant, etc).  I've had a couple land owners up there tell me this is the case and I've never thought much about it.  Just curious really.

Some of the cows got vaginal implants to help researchers locate calves and calving areas.
