Youth Deer Blue Mtn Foothills East
« on: October 07, 2018, 01:56:53 PM »
Trying to help a 12 year old get his first deer.  Tag is for anterless only.  I don’t hunt much in WA, but I do deer hunt yearly out of State.  This tag is good for GMU 145, 172, 178 and 181.

I have no private land hook ups in that part of WA.  Curious if any of the State land is worth hunting for does?  How about the Feel free to Hunt lands?  I’ve spent several days in the past finding those private plots enrolled in the State of WA hunt programs. Many I’ve seen in the past didnt look very promising.  Have about 3 days to hunt with him towards end of the season. I’m not hunting only trying to get my step son hooked on hunting.  We’re losing hunters nationwide and slowly we’ll lose the ability to hunt if we don’t get our youth involved. Any tips or areas to perhaps focus on does would be great.  I’d be happy to share info about out of state hunting.  I hunt out of state yearly.  Idaho, Wyoming and Midwest.  Had an unsuccessful elk hunt in Nevada this year.   Best of luck to all.
