The faint smell of Tag Soup? :)
« on: October 15, 2018, 02:30:13 PM »
Everyone wants to see the successes. But who here's been out all weekend and still stuck with their tag?!    :hello:

This weekend was rough for all the groups we heard from in the area we hunted. Congrats to those of you who have had successes so far! Who's still on the hunt this week?

Why start a negative thread when the season just opened up? We're just warming up

I didn't mean it to be a downer! Just wondering how many are still fighting the fight. We've got lots of time left, yet!

Man... guess I fail miserably at conveying tone through text. Sorry, folks, I really wasn't trying to be a downer, just starting a conversation and wondering how many still have work to do.

Saw some older BIG buck scat, tracks, moose scat in an area not teeming with moose (very cool!), and lots of bear sign. No game sightings, other than a few flushed grouse. We're switching gears next time out to see if we can't see something.

Atleast you didn't drive to eastern wa from Kent,  set up camp,  go trump around the hills from camp,  then learn the guy you went to hunt with sighted in his rifles at camp shortly before you arrived hours before the season opened

Or it could be that i understand it miserably. I haven't even been out yet, i'll take the boy out late this week, or the end of the following week  and let him shoot a young one. i don't even hunt on the weekends anymore to much orange for me.
