Got my Skull Back
« on: March 19, 2009, 09:47:20 PM »
Well I just got my skull back from the taxidermy. It measures 18 3/8. I was hoping to draw the tag again but no chance of that. I will just have to wait to top it on the fall hunt.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I wish I had mine back!  I'd had mine in the taxidermist back in early August.

I'm still waiting for my rug too.

I have been out of town so Thanks for posting the link to the post about my bear. Unfortunately, those are the best I have. I will post one up when I get the mount back. Good luck to all you spring tag holders.
