Tips on 124
« on: October 28, 2018, 12:24:14 PM »
I am planning on taking my son to area 124 for late season modern to try to get his first deer. Since he is a youth he can shoot either a doe or buck.

In doing some research with OnX maps and it looks like the IEP permits will be the best bet but open to suggestions. Any tips from anyone that has hunted the area before. I won't have an opportunity to scout it since I live in the Tri-Cities. Thanks in advance for any tips for the area.

If you don't have private land access, the EIP permit is a good idea.

Basically all private so an IEP pass is probably the way to go.  I’ve hunted the north side of Mt Spokane/Blanchard area.  Seen some deer but lots of hunters and roads are pretty bad.  Thompson creek area has lots of access. I’ve never been in there but I know it’s a popular area.  There are lots of random spots where IEP has land as well. If you have onx you might find some spots worth checking.
