Bearpaw Deer Maps
« on: October 30, 2018, 03:08:21 PM »
Talking with a friend about hunting the eastside deer next year and wondering if any of you have purchased the map from Bearpaw and what you thought of it.  I cant imagine it being a bad thing since I do understand going over with some sort of clue as appose to going over blind has its advantages.  Im guessing that it would be worth the cost just to have a starting point.

I've purchased his maps for ID Spring Bear and MT Antelope. The maps are worth it and Dale is a great guy

Thanks for the comments. I know the NE WA area very well having lived here and hunted it my entire life, we also know numerous other areas in ID, MT, UT, and WA well enough to offer maps in several other areas too. The maps are nothing fancy, I mark spots on the map for at least 4 different hunting areas that are good hunting and I advise hunting methods that have worked for us. I can also mark camping spots in case you are arriving at night or don't have time to look for a place to camp. These hunt areas I recommend will be good hunting areas but you will still have to hunt for and find the game you are seeking. The maps can save many days scouting time and hundreds in fuel trying to find good hunting spots. I prefer to take credit card info and I don't charge your card until I make the map. I think digital maps in satellite view have the best detail and work best but can send a paper map if that is what you prefer and if I have a paper map for that area on hand, I do keep a pretty large selection of maps on hand. These maps are intended to help guys who don't know where to start hunting and in most cases people have been happy with the maps I've sent. There have been a few times I simply have not had time to make a map someone wanted due to being too busy with my outfitting business, generally I can usually get maps done that are ordered a few weeks or more before hunting season begins. Sometimes I can fit in making a map on short notice, if you need a map on short notice the best thing to do is send me an email and ask. Thanks again to everyone who has bought maps from us previously.

If i we're to give a general description of what I was looking for in an area could you recommend an area and map to me or do I need to know where I want a map already? I got a taste of a different style of hunting in Wyoming this year and found out I might not be as stuck in only hunting deep dark wet timber as I thought lol.

Send me a message with what you want to do and if you want me to recommend an area or if there is an area you specifically want to hunt and I'll tell you if I can help or not.

I've bought one and I'd highly recommend it.  The maps themselves come with great info on them and you can also pick up on subtleties of where to look for critters in other areas based on things Dale points out on his maps.
