Died of natural causes.   A gentleman found his skull and it was cleared so that he could keep it.   Up until this year, the biggest typical I have filmed I think.  As soon as the calendar shakes out, Ill post a thread and let the experts decide.

When a brute like that is killed and tagged does it give you a smile to know he lived and spread his genes and you watched over the years?

Are you going to get a score from the guy? It would be a great guess the score game.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

It was controversial how he was killed.  I think it was a sad ending.   As for the deer.  It was a hunt for me to find him and to photo him.  That was fantastic.   To know he was out there, yes!

There was a crap load of guys looking for this buck.  As far as I know I was the only one who photographed him.   He was tagged less than 24 hours after I filmed him.    An anonymous member here was involved with the hunt.   I tease him I wish they hadnt got him because I wanted to see what hed look like this year, but happy they had a successful hunt.   :chuckle:
