Talking to deer

Curious mostly about how/what folks do to make a deer look at you. Do you make odd noises, talk to them, whistle, other?
Trying to get them to look at you for pictures can be a hard thing sometimes.

Blow a grunt call.  You get one shot usually.  After that they will ignore it.  I make all sorts of noises.   

I've filmed with Bill Alard. I was laughing at him because he has "Tourettes" moments.  Im still laughing at some of the sounds that come out of that man.
