If I was a better skinner, I might think about it.  Most of the time I just blow big holes in them and feed the magpies in the name of predator management.   It might be nice to pay for some fuel.    Currently I do enjoy trying to film them.   They arent the easiest to get to pose for you.

Hey man that works too! You could always try air skinning if the hole isn’t *too* big. Never tried it but the vids look pretty cool. I’m in the process of gunning down to a more fur friendly caliber. The ol 243 wssm is tough on pelts but dang they die dead!

I saw that video.   It was cool.

My grandfather would roll over in his grave if he knew what little I actually know about handling fur.   I grew up when coyotes werent worth the bullet you were using to blast them.

I shoot a 25-06.   It leaves em where you hit em.   Not sure its great for the fur trade.
