The rums are built on long actions. Same length actions as regular magnums and 06 etc.  :twocents:

Yep my mistake.

Already have 2 7rem mags that I don't want to modify so not really wanting a 3rd but I guess if that ends up as the best option then so be it. Also I definitely don't want longer than a 26" barrel plus a brake.  It looks like the 28 nos is the obvious choice other than the cost of brass at the moment. So next question is for the guys who are shooting the x-bolts in 28 how is seating depth with the factory mag and the 180 ELD or the 195 EOLs?
