Once again Dale, you are the man! You got a good crew coming to hunt next weekend.  Let me know what is needed and where to send it

I'll touch base with them and find out what she needs for gear, thanks Karl!

That is awesome.

I wonder if Emily will try to get it done with a bow.  She is quite the archer.

Congrats!
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

So awesome!! Congrats Emily. You are going to have a blast with your dad and Dale.

Dale - Sent you a PM last week, need to know where to send the funds. If Karl is buying the gear for Emily I could send it to him or you, just let me know?

Emily and D-Rock arrived yesterday afternoon, we had a nice visit and they went with Daniel to shoot some turkey targets and then went to scout a roost last night. They had a roost pinned down and a game plan for this morning and are out hunting now. I just got back from scouting and have a backup plan for them if needed. Fingers crossed for a successful morning!

Had an awesome weekend of hunting with bearpaw.  Put some birds to bed Saturday night and set up on them Sunday morning birds came in and Emily missed unfortunately but she didn't let it get to her and she stuck it out until the very end witch made it long night of driving for me.  Had a ton of fun with that daughter in the blind.  Big thank you to Dale and crew for putting up with us and everyone else that donates to this hunt it is truly awesome.

It was a pleasure having you both over for the hunt. As I mentioned if you have time this fall bring Emily back for another crack at nailing a bird. Fall season runs from Sept to Dec, so hopefully there's a time that works for her to try again. :hello:

I'm glad she got the chance to take a shot. Hopefully she's excited to get back out and teach them turkey a lesson. I've made some good memories with my Dad hunting turkey together.

Super cool that she got to experience the hunt.....it's not always about the kill!!!  I had my kids out at the property and the weather was horrible.  We didn't get a shot but we had fun calling and listening to the gobblers gobble!!!!!  Fun times with the kids is what it is all about.
