Would retumbo work in the badger 1.0?

You can make about any powder "work" it just may not work well and won't give you the velocity something like this is capable of.  The more overbore something is, the slower the powder needs to be.  US869 not only burns like wet coal, but it's a ball powder so there is generally no issue with getting enough of it in the case like there is with stick powders.  RL33 is fairly slow and could maybe be a suitable choice, but I'd bet US869 will out do it with regard to velocity, and lets face it, that's the whole reason we build these fire breathing dragons, so we can push bullets faster or push a heavier bullet as fast or faster than a lighter one.

#LLBH!! Btw I'm still waiting for you to redo that HPBT gameking bullet trap that you blew up  :tung:

I will, I just need to build a 30 caliber to shoot it out of! I seem to have sold all of my 30's so I'm working on one now, just need to get my action back so I can send it off again. :chuckle:

Retumbo would work with the lighter bullets in the Badger but it's too fast to work well with the 160s that I shoot in there. I'm tempted to try out Ramshot's LRT powder but I still have half a keg of US869 that I really need to use up.

30 Nosler? :chuckle:?

Pretty much, it's a 300 PRC Sherman Improved. It's like a 30 Nosler/300 PRC but with more expensive dies. :chuckle:

Hmm well might I suggest building a fancy .308 win? ;)
