And I have been using the korkers greenback boots. Really like the interchangeable soles. Use the metal bar ones on the super slick fast moving rivers and they work wonders. Kodiak has a bunch of shale bottomed rivers that can be real tough to wade and it's awesome to be able to change out soles to meet the environment your in.

Got my LL Bean breathables last year.  Used them all season.  I love them!!!!

Had Cabelas Breathables for years and I like these way better.

Still to be seen how they hold up but comfort wise a 10/10!!

Read all the reviews and ordered one size up.  They fit perfect.

You will thoroughly enjoy hunting in breathable waders. As far as durability goes, in some ways they are more fragile the neoprene, and otherwise they are way way better. They don’t have the stretch that neoprene does, so if you catch a sharp stick on them, they may not be as forgiving. I have found though that for every day stomping through woods, BlackBerries, brush in general, most stuff just glances off of them and they hold up very well. I’ve had the same set of Simms G4 Pro guide waders for going on five years now, and they average 100 days or more in the field between fishing and hunting.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

Do you have some? I know a guy who's were trashed after 3 years. I feel like there was a lot of buzz about them 4 or 5 yrs ago but all those guys now are talking about getting new waders.

Do you have some?

I do, and based on the reviews I've read and my own experience using them, I find that hard to believe.

what upgrades do you have? If you ordered again what would you add or take off? I have a feeling next year I'll need a new pair and I have looked at USIA for a while.

Tagging - I'm interested in which upgrades are worth getting with these, too.

My buddy has some drake breathable waders but not sure if it's those are not. He has had them 5 season and they have holes in them. I believe most are patched and he'll probably get a couple more years out of them. There isn't a set of waders out there that get much more than 5 years. Even hearing from a Sitka rep they said you'll be replacing your waders in 5 years of normal use.

I've got an insulated set going on 3 years, no holes. But I'm not sure I'd do a lot of hiking with any breathable wader. We boat hunt a lot. I like em.

Once upon a time I have to pour a cell tower foundation sub grade with 3’ of cdf in the middle of December in great falls Montana. Made my company buy me a pair of waders so I can wade around and run the pump. Of course around Christmas scheels was sold out of everything so I conveniently purchased the most expensive waders since they were the only 10s. The brand is unknown but it has ducks unlimited logo on chest and the model is canvasback. Super thick and super comfy. Lasted 4 years now and I think they will last another 4. Wish I bought two at the time since no one else seems to carry that set. Hands over fist the best wader I have owned. I’ve had Columbia’s, mad dogs, cabelas nice, cabelas cheap, redhead bonedry and these were the best
