A visit to my therapist...
« on: March 24, 2019, 12:51:04 PM »
I've had my boat out only four times since the dogs passed and Mom went downhill.  The first two times all I could really do was sleep, not kidding, couldn't focus on fishing at all.

The third time I just spent a couple hours playing with my new Hiroshima swimbait.  Fun, but a little too cold of water for that to work just yet.

Saturday I got up early, left the work phone at home and did my best to 'tune in' to my fishing and take a life break for a day.  It was a successful 'session'.

Great fish! Can you offer any general advice on tactics? I have never been able to find or interest bass this time of the year.

Ya, well - my therapist is going to be a few big walleye next weekend. The electric fillet knife will be smoking!

Congrats!  You needed that.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

 thanks everyone.  It felt nice to experience 'normal' life for the majority of a day.

1230am this morning I was back to ambulance chasing  :bash:  mom had another in and out visit and I missed another day's work.

I agree. Normal life is rather nice.
You have the talent to get some buket-mouted bass for sure. Thanks for the pics and stories!  :hello:
I have never had the desire for them. The only bass I'm interested in is the striper bass and I'm planning on nailing some in April in Lake Havasu.

Positive thoughts for mom and you.
