My son and i also had a tough time with any bird talk.we ended up covering some ground.He shot at one Sunday and just missed by inches.we walked around corner Hens on one side of road ,tom by himself on the other ,like maybe ten yards away.He shots full choke , and I think shot didn't have time to spread.


Congrats to all the young ones that gotter done!

We had A great opening morning,  after my daughters first kill she was good for the weekend so wer hung out for the next couple days.  I didn't want to push her.  Congrats on the toms!

My youngest son and I were over near Colville and had one within 35 yards but just couldn't seal the deal.  It was a tough weekend with not much gobbling after they were off the roost.  Oh well, we'll try again next year, hopefully the weather is better!
