What bow for adult beginner?

I was going to recommend the Diamond Infinite Edge Pro as well when I first saw the title of this thread. Great beginner bow. The SB-1 is also another option.

Yes the SB 1 is a good choice also I bought my oldest daughter 1 last year shoots great.

I picked up a Switchback XT and son got an EZ7, both off ebay for much less than new stuff.......I had to swap the cam on the EZ7 and put a new string on it while I had it broke down and the Switchback was bare with new string........Either of these used bows are as good as it gets for bow hunting.

Don't go infinite edge for an adult.  It's great for its purpose, which is a bow that grows with you.  I have one for my daughter.  Seriously, look at the Bowtech Experience.   Switchback is a decent bow, but nowhere close to the experience.

It is a child's bow.  It's also an adult's bow.  Ideal to grow with someone, but I would never choose it for someone that's already an adult.  Will it work?  Sure!  Others will work much better.

Try different bows before you buy - find the one that you can draw, hold and let down comfortably. I'm a Mathews guy but there are a lot of quality manufacturers so in my experience finding the bow that fits you and feels good in your hands is more important than who made it.

I just got a Diamond SB-1 this march as my first bow and I am loving it. have spent a lot of time at the local archery ship in Sportsmans picking their brains and getting information. it's been a successful process for me so far.

My recommendation is buy the best bow you can afford that you will enjoy to shoot. Or a used bow. Most people who buy a cheap bow just end up replacing all the bottom of the line attachments and getting a better bow the next year anyway. My girlfriend owns a diamond sbe-1. It shoots fine bow for a growing kids bow but she just ended up upgrading the following year.
