I dont get worked up about any draws. I usually wont even check results till I see an email or in the case of WA, wait till the chaos dies down and the server is actually working. CO though? Sleepless nights!!!!! Its the greatest place on earth😍
Do you ever hunt second season? Or just third?

usually 3rd but I like to stay ahead of the ebb and flow of tag popularity so doubtful I'll be 3rd season much longer. Better to stay out in front of these modern day issues with out of state hunting.
As much as you love to hunt mulies I would imagine you are more concerned with drawing a tag than you are with what the hunt dates are. Especially in Colorado.

it's all about being flexible and diverse and proficient in all weapons. With kids starting out of state it becomes even more important to not just lock down solid hunt options for them but also hunts for myself that enable me to hunt for myself.

Solid advice. I feel like a lot of people get caught up in "the tag". I just want "a tag" lol.

Yep! You can't tag points with you when you die and there is SO MUCH opportunity out there for guys willing to out work the next guy with killer tags that are off the radar. I require a tag in CO to fill my season. No way I'm will to sit out a year to try and get a "better" tag. Literally every single unit in CO will produce legit booner bucks. It may be "easier" in certain units but you aren't getting any more top end potential with more points.

Pt. only for me.  If I fill a couple tags early, I’ll
look for a voucher or left over.
