Huge Favor
« on: March 30, 2009, 10:41:45 AM »
I am ordering a new bow from Sapphire Archery.  I have thought about switching to traditional for years and I'm doing it this year.  Really looking forward to it.  I have shot a compound for the past 31 years.  Here is my delima, the bow won't be finished until Aug time, of course I can't pick it up and just start hunting elk the next couple weeks after I get it.  Does anyone have a nice, extra, recurve/longbow they would rent to me for the next 4 months?  I will pay shipping and handling here and back (unless your local, and I can come pick it up).  I will also agree to pay a replacement value should anything happen to it while I have it.  I will take very good care of it, but if something did happen to it I would make it right with you.  I'd like something in the 45-55# range @ 28" draw.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

:)  Thanks for the offer, I'm left eye dominant and should shoot left handed, but I don't, I'm right handed.  Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it!

ITs absolutely funny how giddy I get when I know someone is going to get one of these bows.  They are absolute masterpieces and I can't put into words how much pleasure I get out of shooting mine.  I'm excited for you.

I have a Wing recurve bow collecting dust in my garage. 50 lbs. 62''. Has a springy rest on it. If you wanted to pay mailing costs I would be willing to donate it to you for keeps. Not perfect with respect to finish. By that I mean some Fool { me } painted it camo years back. And I started to remove the paint. Just never finished. Under the paint is a beautiful bow though.

No I couldn't/wouldn't just take it but I would love to borrow it.  I will pay for round trip.  Here is my Zip, 99004, let me know what the mailing cost and what else for your troubles.  Outstanding!!  I really appreciate it.  Fred

elksnout, thank you VERY much for the offer but my problem has most likely been solved.  Seems Ernie has a bow nearly finished that was needing to be adopted.  I can get one now and still have the other made for this fall.  Best of both worlds!!  Thanks again!
