Banks Lake Report
« on: June 07, 2019, 12:29:10 PM »
Taking the family over to Banks next week.  Anyone have a report or any tips they would offer a guy who just wants to see his kids catch some fish.  Fish meaning walleye and bass.  Not interested in trout.  We are staying at the north end so probably fishing up there only.  Unless there is a reason to trailer south.  Thanks!

Grab a cup of coffee at the tackle shop in town (Electric City) and be friendly.  Locals coming in and out gave us tips and saved our trip in April when we happened to come out during the spawn.  They suggested colors that we never would have fished that made all the difference.

Haven't been this year but have been there quite a few times this time of year. If bass are what you are after, fish the rocks outside of the punch bowl. Topwater in the morning and then switch to a drop-shot once the sun comes up.
