Wasn't up in 346 but hung out in 336 for a few days last weekend. went up on cole butte and drove some other roads. saw a few elk but lots and lots of sign. most of the sign was up high (4000ft and up). only saw 3 others up there all weekend. hunting grouse and scouting. lots of water and lots a green grass.

Went up and hunted for the weekend. Going home to work a few days then hunt the last week of the season. Haven’t notched my tag yet but got into elk. Called in a nice 6x6 to about 40 but didn’t get a shot.if he came another 10 yards I would have had him. Or at least had a shot. I was shaken up a bit. Chased a few bugles and bumped a few elk. So far so good. Next week will be a good week
