I also drew but I've been buying points since 2010 because I knew sooner or later this was coming.  The last couple years with the 2nd week of archery has crammed the wood that week at least cow tags can spread some people out over 2 weeks.

I can’t imagine to many people are going to be archery hunting this fall unless they drew cow tags like you two.

I'm in! 340 cow for me. Burned 5 points but had a good feeling I would get a tag under this current system. Good luck out there all! See you in the woods!

Yeah cow tag here. Always bought cow points with the intention of using them for the kids at some point but recently one of my old youth hunters has dove down the archery rabbit hole so figured what the heck let's try and draw him a tag and up his odds of getting his first biw kill. Still stings a bit knowing this has always been otc.

I couldn’t even draw an archery cow tag with 3 points!   Not a single tag for me.  Guess out of state for me.

I’ve also been buying cow points just Incase I went back to rifle. I had 6 points and my buddy who had 6 points also did not draw! 100% luck of the draw. It will be interesting to see the number of applicants for these tags next year
