GMU 124 advice
« on: July 25, 2019, 05:13:55 PM »
Finally had both kids get hunters safety complete and I’m thinking of going to 124 since it’s any deer.  Would love some pointers about the unit if anyone is willing to offer up

Not sure it’s any deer this year. I heard they took away does. But not positive. If not, go knock a few doors up around Chewelah.

124 is still any whitetail for youth and seniors.  All antlerless was removed for 101-121

Buy the IEP permit. You'll be able to access a lot of area that hold a decent amount of whitetail.

I door knocked in Colbert and Deer Park area years ago looking for land to take my two kids hunting.  Suprisingly found quite a few landowners who granted us permission to hunt.  Great unit for young hunters to see deer on a daily basis and good chance to harvest a deer.
