Seeing any ?
« on: September 12, 2019, 04:56:36 PM »
Seems as though lots of people have been out and about lately. It is hunting season. Anyone seeing wolves ? Or is just not worth mentioning anymore ?

Crossed road in front of me Friday in the Wedge.  Was in no rush to get out of sight.  Watched it mosey from 30 to 80 yards with a few stops to look at me,  before disappearing into timber.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Hunted in 101 this past week. Clearly, unmistakably heard a wolf howling on Vulcan Mountain near Curlew. I have heard wolves in  the Tucannon unit of the Blue Mountains and at the Wolf Haven International park in Tenino (kids field trip). Have a picture of a wolf on a trail camera in the same area in January. Hard to know if its part of the Togo pack or not.

Friend saw three black wolves going after 8 whitetail bucks. Bucks were high on the skyline with wolves below. By Lake Ellen in Ferry County.
