Montana Youth Help
« on: September 10, 2019, 11:21:14 AM »
I plan on taking my daughter on the Montana Youth early hunt next month.  I thought I would throw out a net and see if anyone would want to share some ideas of where to go with her.

I am familiar with most of the state but have only hunted the northeastern and south central portions of the state.  I wanted to try to get something West of Bozeman or so, so I wouldn't have to drag her across the whole state for a two day hunt.  I plan on going a day or two early to scope things out if I need to.  I'll take her back to Glasgow in November if I need to, she wants to go that time of year but I am not too sure, depending on the weather, if it is the right thing to do.

In return, if you would like, depending on the info, I can share info on various places I have hunted in Eastern Montana, South Central Montana, including info on access to some private ground and more than a few places in the Frank Church in Idaho for Deer/Elk.
