My new varmint gun
« on: April 11, 2009, 05:26:42 PM »
Bought this 22-250 this morning from ADNAHOUNDSMAN. Brought it home and robbed scope from my Weatherby and the bipod and sling from my Tikka, What do you all think of my idea of the perfect place to keep my remote and call list? Cant wait to sight her in. Thanks for looking. Markts :IBCOOL:

She's a tack driver you'll like it. Really like your call list idea. Nice meeting you also.

I like the handiness of your call list, but it looks like you don't "sling" it over your shoulder much.

I do, and I just replaced my sling with a camo version that has an especially tacky rubber surface, and it stays on my shoulder much better than the previous sling.

Thanks for looking , And yes I do use my sling, The remote and call list are attached by heavy duty velcro tape, I carry them to stand in my pocket and attach after getting set up. The sling also has the sticky rubber, sounds like the same one. Markts

Looks sweet, only way to improve could possibly be a come paint job..or a camo wrap.

Let us know how it performs..

I am kicking the paint job idea around, my original plan was to dedicate a gun to varmints. And though I have been an automotive painter for over 20 years I am hesitant to paint one of my guns. May do one of my beater 22s in the future? Thanks Markts
