That would be illegal.  One would have to lie filling out the salvage location data.

This kinda reminds me of the Idaho Tcam thread where a post was made referencing slowly the gubernment is/will be turning many into "poachers"/illegal doings. FACT!

Is it?  I've never filled out a salvage tag before, so I don't know the stipulations.   :dunno:

The law specifies the deer/elk must have been accidentally hit by a motor vehicle.

and there is a map where ya need to post location of vehicle struck deer. Been a few years, but I have done quite a few.

I like the idea as a way to get a deadhead, just dont want to see someone get in trouble for not knowing salvage rules.
