Looking for recommendations on NorCal pig hunt
« on: September 18, 2019, 07:03:43 PM »
Hey all, long time lurker, and this may be a long shot but I'll shoot anyway.
My dad's turning fifty and I'm wanting to do something cool for him this year, considering all the hell I've put him through as I was growing up.
He's been talking about doing a pig hunt for as long as I can remember and he isn't getting any younger, curious if anyone's had any experience with any guides there or a do it yourself pig hunt, anything that can help point me in the right direction would be much appreciated!

I went with Lockwood Outfitters  and had a great time. They’re out of Ukiah & I hunted a ranch near Clear Lake. Shot two giant pigs the first day. There’s a little diy on public land for them but not much, they live mostly on the private ranches. Fort Hunter Liggett allows hunting for them, I believe.
