Drift boat net

Well, I guess I'm in the market for a new net for the driftboat. Yesterday I went to net a coho for my son and the fish went right through the bottom of the net! I could just replace the netting to the frame that is still in decent shape, but I think I will just upgrade....got a solid 15-20 years out of the old one.
I'm looking for a collapsible, salmon/steelhead net that also allows for easy release for catch and release fisheries. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Frabill Conservation.  I have had one for about 5 years.  All rubber no edges makes releasing easy.  I have never had fly line or a hook stuck to the net.   The pole pushes in to the net for storage.  Pricey but worth it

Pretty sure it's the same net I have. If you are used to a nylon net, netting with an all rubber net will be a change, but you'll get used to it. They are great on fish and gear. Like Henry said, nothing gets tangled or stuck in them.

In my experience, the first couple times I felt like I was trying to net a fish with a trampoline!

My vote is for a knotless Beckman, I’ve had one for the last 8 or so years and love it. My model has a fairly large hoop with a fairly shallow bag which makes releasing fish a bit easier, and gives you a bigger target which is always a plus
