I think the only ammonive ever purchased from walmart are those 100rnd boxes of #8 shot and some clay targets, possibly some lead #4 when i ran out Pheasant hunting.

I have bought most of my ammo at Bi Mart. Thier sales are awesome! Online Midway USA has treated me pretty good.
