Fishing the Caribbean
«
on:
December 17, 2019, 12:05:13 PM »
For the past 6 years after we wrap up our hunting we take a cruise to the Caribbean to warm up a bit. We mainly use the cruise ship as a mode of transportation to get to different countries where I book our own private excursions. This year we flew into Puerto Rico a few days early to Tarpon fish with a good friend. My goal was this year to break into the 100 lb. class. I had the opportunity a few times but it was not to be. I had one on we thought to be right around 150# for about 30 minutes but he got close to shore and wrapped me up in the mangrove roots.
The Wahoo were in Barbados where I was in search of a White Marlin. Did not tie into one of them this year but I love revenge fishing. I am already booked again for next year.
