See?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

How are you keeping them? Skinning and freezing?

Ok what’s working for me on holding the koro in the box is pressure. 4” from the back of the box I staple a 1/2” thick lat stick down then put the koro snugged up to it and staple one in front of the koro so it’s got  “squeeze “ pressure against the trap

I can set these boxes straight vertically on a tree and the trap stays put and when it triggers on a critter it comes loose they swing out and it’s worked well for me
Hopefully this helps
Jake

im all about trappng and body gripping traps etc and dont want this to come off as a "policeing" comment. but how is this legal in washignton, or is this in watshignton and if so, how do you get around the "death traps" or body gripping criteria.  technically isnt a mouse trap a body gripping death trap? according to the law isnt trapping mice technically illegal.  i just want to find a loophole around this trapping law

Thanks for the pictures Jake, they makes it very clear.  I have all mine stapled down but have had some experiences that make me think having them loose after the catch would be better.
