Elk in the offseason
« on: February 10, 2020, 02:32:38 PM »
Thought I'd share to help my fellow elk hunters get through a week in the offseason. Local elk herd just chilling out across the street from my mailboxes.

Very cool. The other day there must have been at least 500 head at the Cowiche feeding station in the morning. Then, around noon I get the glass for another look and they are all gone. However, I kept glassing and then noticed they were all bedded down about a 1000 yards from where they drop the hay.
